Jeannette Wisby, Principal of Design Savvy, is a Certified Interior Decorator and as an Accredited member of CDECA (Canadian Decorators Association) www.cdeca.com, she is a Past Director of CDECA's National Shows & Events Committee as well as currently the Vice President of the GTA West Chapter of CDECA and an Ambassador to Sheridan College. This committee involvement, along with attending educational and affiliate seminars, trade shows and member events ensure that Jeannette is well informed on the most innovative and current decorating and design options available. After a long career working in the public sector, specifically Human Resources, Jeannette decided it was time to pursue her lifelong interest & passion of Interior Decorating & Design, and establish a new career as an Interior Decorator by returning to school to obtain the specialized training and technical knowledge required of Interior Decorators.
Jeannette is an honors graduate from Sheridan College Interior Decorating program and is not only knowledgeable about trends, materials and finishes, but also has the education and expertise to manage your projects from inception through installation.
It is a firm belief of Jeannette's that the relationship between the client and decorator be based on trust and respect. "I feel this can be accomplished by listening and acting on this information to be able to provide an interior that reflects their needs and desires". This involves excellent communication skills; project management skills, meeting deadlines & budgets; and offering pleasing, functional and comfortable interiors that maximize the quality of living and value found within your home.
