The New Store in Town - Wicker Emporium

A few months ago a new store opened in my neighbourhood - Wicker Emporium www.wickeremporium.ca and of course I had to pop in to see what they had and it was truly lovely.  I had thought that the name said it all, but I was wrong.  Wicker Emporium has wicker but many solid wood pieces of furniture including mango, mahogany and others.  They have textiles, interior decor items, and just about anything you would want for your home decor needs.

I spent a lovely evening with the owners, manager and others a couple of month ago and truly found them all to be genuine people with the prime goal to offer wonderful products, customer service and the best part is the pricing - incredible. 

This store is actually a family owned business originating on the east coast and has now opened its' doors in 3 locations across the GTA - Oakville atDorval Crossing in Oakville; Heartland Centre in Mississauga and the Colossus Centre in Vaughan. This store is a must see for anybody interested in wonderful items in Home Decor.

Wonderful Wallpaper and Fabric.....

As I keep telling clients, wallpaper is back with a vengence and it is gorgeous!! We are also seeing the matching and coordinating fabrics - yes somewhat like the 80's but so much nicer and such a great variety. I have to share some of the wonderful delights from Thibaut. I am a fabric nut - love it!! I find it so inspirational and hope the photos below offer you some inspiration. I probably should have catetgorized these into 'brights', 'textured' and 'neutrals'; traditional and contemporary, but I just wanted to upload as many as I could for you to see - it is like being in a candy store to anyone interested in home decor. I just couldn't stop myself......
